It’s Never Too Late
If you’ve gotten to November and you’re nowhere near your target for this year, for heaven sake, DON’T PANIC AND DON’T GIVE UP!
It’s never too late in the year to meet your target. Every single new client you bring on can make a difference. You never know who you will get a referral from or whether a client that only has one of your services or products may suddenly be in a situation where they need something else. Rather than using your energy worrying about why you didn’t make it, take that energy and spin it into some positive action. If you’ve got something new to introduce, don’t go through your list and cross off people because you assume they won’t want or need your new product or service. Let them decide and if they say no, that’s fine, go on to the next one.
Several years ago, I had a client that was way behind in his targets toward the end of the year. He thought there was no way he would meet them no matter what he did. He decided to host a webinar on a specific product and with a little help did a bang up job of marketing it to his clients and prospects. He not only made his year that month but exceeded his yearly goal. How did that happen? Careful planning and never saying never!
